Cancellation Policy - Initial Appointments

Due to the extended and discounted nature of Initial Consultations time & dates can be changed within the following limits:

  • free of charge up to 7 days before the booking*

  • 7-5 days before the booking – a fee of $50*

  • 4-2 days before the booking – a fee of $150*

  • within 24 hours of the booking – the full booking fee

If illness prevents you from attending in person we are able to quickly change your booking to online.  Illness is a perfect time to capture the state of the body and have a naturopathic session.

These fees are to avoid movements of 90 minute consultations and the disruptions caused to other patients.  It also covers our administration costs and therefore cannot be waived.

Reminders are sent out 24 hours prior to your appointment for organisational purposes only and are not a reminder to cancel. Please ensure you diarise your appointments.

Pre-payment of Initial Appointments

We only take confirmed bookings and require initial appointments to be paid when booking.  This is because Initial appointments are long and therefore take up a large space in times available to other patients.  All our clients need to be able to access times and we ask that you work with us to ensure everyone has fair access to our services. 

Please read our cancellation policy to see and understand the parameters for making changes to your appointment. 

We do not refund pre-payments, they are applied as a credit to your next appointment.

Cancellation Policy - Return Appointments

Last minute changes,  cancellations or non-attendance incur the following fees: 

  • up until 3 days before your appointment changes are free of charge

  • 3 days or less before the booked time a $50 cancellation fee 

  • 24 hours or less before the booked time the full fee is charged

For return patients please note:
If you are needing to cancel a Monday or Tuesday appointment please do so via phone or email by Thursday 3pm so that another client can take this time online over the weekend.

These fees cover our administration costs for the time we have held for you in good faith and therefore cannot be waived.

Please be respectful of other patients and move appointment times as soon as possible rather than leaving it to the last minute.

Any last minute reduction to appointment length will include a fee when less than 3 days notice is given. For Monday and Tuesday appointments please let us know you’d like to change the appointment length before 3pm Thursday. 

Fees for reducing appointment length:

* 60 to 30 minutes - $40 * 30 to 15 minutes - $20

Metabolic Balance Package

The Metabolic Balance Program 12-week Package is paid in full at the time of making your Metabolic Balance appointment. Or a payment plan is contracted. It is a non-refundable and non-transferable payment/s. If you have difficulty sticking to the program please ensure that you reach out for our support. If you find that you need naturopathic support to enable you to follow the program you can use your Metabolic Balance sessions to receive that support.

All individual sessions need to be booked at the beginning of the program.

Changing, moving or cancelling appointments need to happen 3 business days prior to your appointment. Late cancellations mean the loss of that appointment from your program.‍ ‍

Shipping

All orders are shipped via Australia Post Express to maintain the integrity of our medicinal herbs and nutritional products. Delivery is typically 1–4 business days from dispatch.

Packaging and handling are included at no additional cost, despite the time involved. We trust this will be appreciated as part of our service.

Shipping charges are included in your invoice and must be paid in full prior to dispatch. Prompt payment ensures timely shipment of your order.

For tracking your email address and mobile number will be provided to Australia Post for delivery notifications.

Shipping costs include transit insurance charged at $2.50 per $100 of goods.

Invoices

Following your appointment or repeat prescription request, an invoice will be issued outlining consultation fees, prescribed herbs/supplements, and any applicable shipping costs.

In-person appointments can be paid on the day via card or bank transfer. Telehealth appointments are invoiced on the day and must be paid via credit card or bank transfer the same day. Prompt payment ensures timely preparation and dispatch of your order.

Overdue invoices incur a $20 administration fee per follow-up, reflecting time taken away from patient care.

All invoices must be paid in full prior to collection or shipping.

Purchases & Returns

All sales of products whether they be dispensed by Alchemy Medicine or be a packaged product that we trade in are final. We can not accept change of mind returns.

All email, text message and phone orders are considered offical and once we order products in at your request you are honour bound to follow through on payment for these products.
